I’ll have pictures and other fun stuff from the weekend up here soon, once I get the goods off of Sara’s camera. I made a few small changes to the blog today; more links on the sidebar to the right, and a new link to Tiffany’s blog (an old friend from Seattle).
I’ve been reading Wild at Heart by John Eldredge recently, and I really like it so far. I’ll let you know what I think when I finish it.
So, about this weekend. Sara has now officially graduated from high school, reaffirming what was established two weeks ago: she is now an adult. Speaking of adult, Sara is going to Aruba for a vacation in a few weeks without any of us family members tagging along.
Anne and Kim have moved into their new apartment in East Syracuse. The new place seems really nice to me. It’s a 12 minute drive from my house, which isn’t bad; only twice as much as the Mill St. place.
The grandparents and Debbie and Rusty seemed to have a good time, we all enjoyed having them over for the celebration. As of this morning, all of our visitors are gone

Last night was nice; Grandma and Grandpa Graves got here safely and got to meet Kim and Pat. The desserts of the evening were delicious (rhubarb pie and dark chocolate pudding cake). Grandma and Grandpa Young even got a piece of the action over in Astoria, OR courtesy of my Web Cam.
Kim’s yet to be named car should be in town now, waiting for her to get out of work.
Also, read about Kim’s brush with death, in her post here.
If no one is on the Perry Web Cam, you can still listen to selections from my music collection currently being streamed to a home near you! (As audio included in the main feed.)

Here’s the long-awaited post on my new SLI configuration. Yes, I spent another $105 on my computer in order to make my games look somewhat better. The whole process took a couple hours and was actually pretty easy, but fun nonetheless. This post would have been too long to do it all on this page, so I created a dedicated one here.
I enjoyed putting the gallery together, and I hope you like it too. As always, goofy pictures of me included 100% fat free!
If you have no idea what SLI is, or even what a video card is, here are some quick definitions and links:
Video card – A computer component that processes graphics for your computer to display (taking some of the load off of the rest of the machine).
SLI – NVIDIA’s technology that allows two video cards to work together, potentially doubling performance.
