Advanced Stats at 8:25!

August 28th, 2006 at 2:49 pm (Blather, Insight on Dan!)

Today was my first day of classes. All in all it went well. I’ll be writing some long papers this semester though… The grand total for my books came to $110! About a quarter what I paid last semester. Here’s the list:

Nazi Germany 1933-1945
Tudor England
Advanced Statistics
Politics of Russia
Global Migration

Sounds good to me.

And… A new Random Link of the Week!

So Long…

August 25th, 2006 at 10:54 pm (Family)

Well, we saw Sara off today at William Smith.  It was sad, but I think she’ll do well there.  They brought me along for computer help and big brother emotional support.  It’s a good thing Kim will be in town this year, otherwise I might have to cry :(

One Year!

August 24th, 2006 at 9:32 pm (Announcements, Kim)

As of tonight, Kim and I have been dating for one year! It seems like a long time, but it also went by really fast. Here’s to another year ;)

Kim’s at the Young Life camp in the Catskills this week, and I think they’re working her pretty hard. She’s having fun though. I told her it’s good practice :D (She’s working with the 7-12 month olds).

In the meantime I’ve been ferociously cleaning my new kitchen so I can cook something delicious for her when she gets back on Saturday!

You should all know I love digg. It’s a news site (mostly tech and oddball stuff) that lets users submit stories and decide which ones make it to the front page. Like Slashdot, it has a tendency to kill web servers.

I was browsing last week and came across this cool site that is featured as this week’s Random Link of the Week. Enjoy!

Niagara Falls Gallery

August 17th, 2006 at 1:22 pm (Announcements, Cool!, Kim)

The Niagara Falls gallery is up here! I think we got some good photos from this trip; we only got help on one of them. We had a great time and have some good stories to share. My favorite is the Cave of the Winds tour; absolutely hilarious. I would also like to point out that Kim looks amazing!

It was her first time at the falls, and my first time getting wet in them.

Also, Kim posted some embarrassing stories about me, so enjoy those!
