Back To The Grind

Well… my wonderful break is over. Since Thanksgiving the most exciting events have been cleaning out the basement (actually a lot of fun for me), going to Red Robin for the first time in this area, and starting to read an exciting book with Kim. The basement looks relatively sparse now… and I have a brand new compound miter saw to put down there. Red Robin was great, Kim, Sara, Noah, Kailyn, Sarah, Josh and I went. I got a balloon; thanks to Kim!

Anyway… I’ll have to tell you all about the book privately, I don’t think it’s appropriate for this blog ;)

Another amazing Get Fuzzy!

Get Fuzzy 11-24-06

I like this one…

Kim, Anne, Sara and I went shopping this morning at 5:20.  Best Buy and Target…  Good stuff!  The dinners last night were fun, I ate A LOT.  It was great to spend the holiday with Kim this year :D

Eat More Turkey (Because I Can’t!)

Happy Thanksgiving folks!

Turkey

Two dinners for me today (3:30 with Kim’s family and 6:30 with mine). My prediction: my stomach will explode!

Santa Clause 3 last night, it was good, but not as funny as the trailer for Meet the Robinsons! I have a big head, and little arms; MASTAH?!

What’s Up Doc?

Well, I’m enrolled in five classes now, not just three.

Ancient Athenian Democracy (History senior seminar)
Oil, Water & War
Political Theory
Food Science I
Practice and Policy in Adult Corrections (aka “Mom’s Class”)

Looks like a pretty good schedule to me, and… no Friday classes! Not on purpose, and it’s a first for me.

This picture and the one from my last post are from this website (naughty name, good stuff though). Thanks to Wild Eyed Wonder.

In other news, today Kim and I went to Caz to pick up some furniture from Lyle (her boss over the last two summers). We got five chairs and an end table that need work, but are otherwise very nice. We’ve been looking for some projects like this for a while, now we have seven!

Monday I had a migraine, and I’m still feeling a little whacked out.
