I just finished my first day back. Three classes, all of which will be interesting. Today I had Oil, Water & War which is about global Oil and Water policies and conflicts that have erupted. I’ll have a ton to reading for that one. Then I had Political Theory with the always provoking Professor Thomas. Finally, Food Science (Cooking). The cooking course sounds like a lot of fun. We’ll be in the lab cooking three hours a week with self-instruction in a computer lab on our own schedule.
Last Friday Kim and I went to Easton, PA for a day trip. We saw the Crayola Factory, a canal museum and a Pez museum. Each was really cool in their own right. It had been a while since we’ve had a day trip, and it was definitely a good day. The only stressful part was getting back on the highway in PA after filling up the tank. We were in the middle of nowhere with no street lights and really confusing road signs. But we made it back alright. I’ll post pictures when I get them!

I finally got the pictures from Georgia up. The total came to 122! Check them out here!
On the left is one of the photos of a very memorable event, my first meal at Waffle House! Thanks to Kim for insisting on capturing this event with photographs
I also described the various pictures so you know what you’re looking at.

I survived my trip down south! Kim and I got back a week and a half ago, and we’ve been busy since then. I was pleasantly surprised how pretty it was down there. I’ll add it to the list of regions I like more than New York
Kim’s family seemed to like me and everyone treated me really well. The food was fantastic! Like… Beer Butt Chicken! I got a chance to drive a Jeep, which I like a lot, but the gas mileage is a little too low for my standards. I’ll be posting a bunch of pictures later today or tomorrow.

Kim and I had our first Christmas together this season. I’ve been looking forward to that for a long time. She got me a hilarious T-shirt, three art prints (my favorite gift this year), and a cool mug that doesn’t condense! I even got some presents from her family down there, which I wasn’t expecting.

I’ll save the big wedding news for Kim to post about, but we also registered at Target on Sunday. We had soooo much fun with the scanner and picking stuff out. Now we’re working on finding china and silver.
Classes start a week from today, but it’s my LAST SEMESTER! I’m finishing up my resume and I’ll be sending applications out to organizations soon. Exciting times…

I like the phone bit
Speaking of phones… Apple announced the iPhone, which I’ll never buy. But it’s still cool, despite the overkill factor.
